This was Walker Designs first residential project. Our client owned the house next door and where the house now sits was its garden. We managed to get away with the loss of the garden space as no other house on the block has a garden. The site itself was challenging because of the highway access and the existing retaining wall to the rear of the site. It was all overcome through some good design.
